The hoist has a Working Load Limit (WLL) of 2000 kg and operates with a single chain configuration. It is classified according to the D8+ standard, meaning it is equipped with two independent DC brakes for increased safety. Unlike standard D8 motors, a D8+ hoist is allowed to hold loads above people without requiring a secondary safety device, although moving loads above people is still not permitted under D8+ regulations.
